David Ledain is based in West Sussex, in the UK. He identifies as a CIS gay man. He writes male gay non-fiction and tells the stories of men affected by these issues through compelling and honest interviews. His books are underpinned with research from history and modern-day scientific knowledge and understanding. He is passionate about telling the LGBTQ+ story and is actively involved with Queer Britain Museum, a charity set up to open the first bricks and mortar LGBTQ+ museum in the UK.

He can also be found on the Rainbow Dads Podcast talking about his coming out story, married to woman and having children before accepting his sexuality and using his writing as a means of discovery, self-help and to help others on similar journeys.
